Simpson 260® Series 6P
Analog - VOM
Volt-Ohm-Milliammeter
Simpson Catalog Number Unknown
The front on the Simpson 260-6P changes from the Series 5, by the addition of a "transit" position
at the 500 MA position on the function switch. The 50 Micro Amp jack is also marked as 250 MV.
The 260 Series 6 is the first to have the three Amp-Clamp scales.
A special "Guest Meter 260-6P" is the same without the amp-clamp scales on the dial face.
The Simpson 260-6P has the Taut Band Suspension dial.
Controls include: Ohms zero adjustment, AC - DC Voltage selector switch,
and a 12 position Function / Range selector switch. Eight recessed probe jacks.
The overload reset button is on the left side of the Simpson logo.
The back of the case has an "adapter lock" for use with "Add-A-Tester" accessories.
The rear case now has rubber feet instead of raised bumps at the four corners.

This is the first model to use the NEDA 13 F "D" cell and NEDA 1604A (9 Volt) batteries combination.
Also new for the Simpson 260 series 6 is the separate battery / fuse cover.
This allows you to change the batteries and fuses without removing the entire back cover.
Case Size: 5¼ " x 7 " x 3⅛ " - Weight: 3 Pounds
The Adjust-A-View handle can also support the meter in a sloping position for viewing.
