Simpson 360-2

Digital - VOM

Volt-Ohm-Milliammeter

The Simpson 360-2 comes with AC adapter / charger, test leads and operator manual.

Re-chargeable batteries are an option, and not included.

The difference between the Model 360-2 and the Model 360 are the low power ohms ranges.

The Model 360 has 200 Ohm and a 2 K Ohm low power ranges.

The Model 360-2 has 200 Ohm and a 20 K Ohm low power ranges.

The analog indicator under the digital readout is also different.

The display is 3½ digits, 7-segment, 0.43 inch light-emitting-diode.

An analog indicator is located below the digital readout, and is used for a quick indication

of nulling, peaking, scanning and varying signal applications.

Controls include: Battery Charger / Off DC Ohms / AC selector, and a 14 position Function / Range

selector switch.  Seven banana jacks and two pin jacks are also on the front.

The two pin jacks are for an analog output to a recorder.

The battery test jack is used for reading the charge on the internal batteries.

This view is of the Simpson 360 and the Simpson 360-2 together to show the differences.

The Simpson 360-2 can be operated off 120 VAC, four  "C" size rechargeable nickel-cadmium cells,

or four carbon zinc or alkaline "C" size cells. Two fuses with spares are located near the batteries.

Case Size: 5¼ " x 7 " x 3¾ "  -  Weight: 4 Pounds 10 Ounces

The Adjust-A-View handle can also support the meter in a sloping position for viewing.
